NBHA Ut District 5

You do not have to be member to run at our jackpots. However, to be eligible for our year-end awards and run at the Vegas World Super Show, NBHA Western Regional Finals, & Utah NBHA State Finals, you will need to be a current NBHA member.

JR. YOUTH - will run first --12 (as of Jan 1, 07) and under 3-D Format --1D fastest time, 2D fastest time +1 second, 3D fastest time + 2 seconds.
YOUTH - will follow the Jr Youth-- 18 (as of Jan 1, 07) thru 13 3-D Format --1D fastest time, 2D fastest time +1 second, 3D fastest time + 2 seconds.
SENIORS - will run at the end of the open or you can carry your times over from the open 3-D FORMAT.
OPEN - after the youth divisions 4-D Format --1D fastest time, 2D fastest time + ½ second, 3D fastest time + 1 second, 4D fastest time + 2 seconds.

We will host 23 jackpots. All 23 jackpots which includes both go’s at the Jennifer Barrow Memorial Target Race and the Golden Spike Target Race will count for district points.
Awards will be given at the end of the season to the top 5 Open district point earners per division.
In the event of a Tie, there will be an Optional Buy-Out.
Saddles will be awarded to Open Division Winners.
Awards will be given to the top 3 district point winners in each of the Senior, Youth and Jr Youth Divisions. High Point Saddles will be awarded to the Senior, Youth & Jr. Youth with the most points in any one of the divisions.
All Ties will be broken by money earned.

The OPEN HIGH POINT WINNER will be awarded the use of a NEW HORSE TRAILER FOR 1 YEAR FROM 5 STAR TRAILER SALES & JOE ADAIR REALTY. You must be a NBHA member to receive district points and year end awards.

If we have a timer malfunction and we don’t get your time, you have the option of either running again or getting a refund.

A knocked over barrel is a no time.

If you enter more than one horse at the jackpot and place on both horses in the same division, you will get the points on the horse that placed the highest.( you will receive a check for both horses, just not points on both horses).

Carry-overs for the Jr Youth, Youth & Seniors can carry over their time from the open division to the senior, youth & Jr youth division (Run in the open division & your time will also count in the youth or senior division). Entry fee for a carry over is $46.00. You must enter as a carry over before the youth division starts. Youth can carry their times over to the Jr youth also .

National Point Races: Points for Sanctioned races will count toward the World NBHA Finals Qualification.

Returned Checks .... There will be a $15.00 charge for all returned checks.
